The Bedford Golf Club in Great Denham welcomed nearly 70 male golfers from across Bedfordshire on Sunday for the Workplace Challenge 'Golf FORE Guys' golf competition organised by Jo Brewster, our Workplace Challenge Manager. The early afternoon rain initially threatened to spoil the fun, but quickly blew over and a fantastic day's golf was enjoyed by all.
We like to set a good example here at team Beds and Luton and recently our very own Admin Assistant Marcia, inspired by the This Girl Can campaign, proved that she definitely can.
Encouraged by some initial training from Tom, our Sport Project Officer, Marcia took up running in the summer and completed her very first 10k race in September.
