We have recently launched an exciting new agreement with Funding 4 Sport to help fund sport and physical activity in our local Luton and Bedford community. Funding4Sport write funding bids for organisations on a 'no win, no fee' basis and have an 85% success rate! They write funding bids for community groups, schools and sports clubs for both capital and revenue based projects.

Our first Sports Club Forum for clubs in Luton & Bedford was held on Monday 10 October and we have a great turnout from sports clubs and NGB's from around Bedfordshire, in total 45 people attended.

Bedfordshire's School games started off with a bang with an amazing opening ceremony featuring some amazing acts and people. A special guest appearance from Zac Purchase, Olympic Medallist and British Rower, only sweetened the act. His speech was sure to inspire and motivate future sportsmen and he didn't disappoint....

More than one in four people in England (28 per cent) do less than 30 minutes of physical activity a week. But research shows that those who do the least activity stand to benefit the most, even if it's just small changes like gentle jogging, swimming or playing rounders in the park.
