I was born in a small country called Estonia which currently has a population around 1.3 million. I have been involved in sports and physical activity from early age. In particular, I have been involved in football since age of 5 when I joined with my friends Flora Tallinn Football Club to offer 'good show' for spectators in Estonia.
Once I got older I was lucky and honoured to get involved with U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21 Estonian national youth football teams and Estonian highest level of football. This experience made me realise that I want to get more knowledge and experience to help individuals around sport and physical activity. Therefore, I moved from Estonia to England to educate myself further at the University of Bedfordshire studying Sport Management Degree which I now have completed with First-Class Honours.
During my time at the University of Bedfordshire I coached various sports for children in Bedfordshire. I also managed University of Bedfordshire Women's Football 1st and 2nd Team and University of Bedfordshire Get into Sport programme Football/Futsal sessions. I currently hold Rugby Level 2, Football Level 1, Futsal Level 1 and Coaching Footballers with Disabilities qualifications.
I started working for teamBEDS&LUTON in June 2016. I manage the Bedfordshire Satellite Club Links programme to bridge the gaps between school, college and community sport and provide new opportunities for young people from Bedford to Luton to create lifelong sporting habits.
My other interests include music, food, cultures and travelling. I also can speak Estonian, English and little German and Finnish.
